Refunds and Cancellations for iOS App

Apple allows users to request refunds for apps, in-app purchases, and subscriptions under certain conditions. Here’s how you can do it:

  1. Visit Apple's Report a Problem Website:

    • Go to reportaproblem.apple.com.

    • Sign in with your Apple ID.

    • Select "I'd like to," then choose "Request a refund."

    • Choose the reason for your refund request and select the app, subscription, or item.

    • Submit your request.

  2. Using Your iPhone or iPad:

    • Open the Settings app.

    • Tap your name (Apple ID profile) at the top.

    • Select "Media & Purchases" → "View Account."

    • Scroll down to "Purchase History."

    • Find the item you want a refund for and tap "Report a Problem."

    • Choose "Request a Refund," select a reason, and submit.

Canceling Subscriptions

To cancel a subscription on iOS:

  1. Open the Settings app.

  2. Tap your name.

  3. Select "Subscriptions."

  4. Choose the subscription you want to cancel.

  5. Tap "Cancel Subscription" and confirm.

Refunds and Cancellations for Android App

Requesting a Refund

Google Play offers refunds for apps, games, and in-app purchases under specific conditions. Here’s how to request a refund:

  1. Within Two Hours of Purchase:

    • Open the Google Play Store.

    • Navigate to the app or game you want a refund for.

    • Click the "Refund" button.

    • Confirm by tapping "Request refund".

  2. After Two Hours:

    • Visit Google Play Help.

    • Sign in with your Google account.

    • Select "Request a refund."

    • Follow the prompts to submit your request.

Canceling Subscriptions

To cancel a subscription on Android:

  1. Open the Google Play Store.

  2. Tap your profile icon.

  3. Select "Payments & subscriptions."

  4. Choose "Subscriptions."

  5. Select the subscription you want to cancel.

  6. Tap "Cancel subscription" and confirm.
