- Comprehensive insurance. We offer insurance for gear up to $100,000! For renters, we offer three options for ultimate flexibility: 1) you can use your own, third-party insurance and we will verify it; 2) you can leave a deposit for the full value of the gear (if the rental is less than a week in duration), or 3) you can purchase insurance instantly on KitSplit.
- Rentals from a wider range of owners. In addition to thousands of individual photographers and filmmakers who are renting out their gear on KitSplit, there are also many production companies, studios and rental houses! This means more options for you in one place.
- Rental Agent service. We have awesome customer service 7 days a week. If you send us a list of the gear you need to list or find to rent, we’ll list it or find it for you!
- Events in our most popular cities. You can join and list anywhere in the US on KitSplit, but in our most popular cities we also have awesome events with screenings from members! We’ll reach out to you if/when we have events in your area.
- We love promoting you, your projects and your gear! We have an active blog and presence on instagram, twitter, and facebook and we love promoting you, your projects and your gear. Tag your projects with #MadeWithKitSplit and reach out if there’s anything you want us to share with the community!
