Size chart layouts

Understanding size chart layouts to choose the right fit for your clothing.

The size chart layout editor lets you build a flexible size chart by adding different content blocks, such as sizing tables, text, images, dividers, videos, tabs, and custom code.

Use layout blocks to organize sizing information clearly so shoppers can find the details they need more easily.

Size Chart Layout Preview

The layout preview appears on the left side of the editor. This preview shows how the size chart is currently structured.

  1. Template button: Use the “Template” button if you want to reuse the same layout for multiple size charts. Layout templates help keep your size charts consistent. Instead of updating the same layout for different-sized charts, update the template once. Then apply it where needed.

  2. Layout Block Labels: The layout block labels show which sections are currently included in the size chart.

  3. Layout Block Editing Options: Hover over a layout block to show the available editing options. From the editing bar, you can change the block order, open the layout block editor, or delete the layout block.

  4. Add a Section: Click “Add a Section” to open the size chart layout section view. From there, you can choose and add new sections to the size chart.

Available Layout Blocks

You can add different layout blocks depending on the type of content you want to display.

Sizing Table

Use the sizing table block to add structured size information, such as measurements by size, unit, region, or product type. For more details, please refer to this guide.

Text

Use the text block to add written instructions, notes, descriptions, or measurement guidance.

The text editor works similarly to a standard text editor. You can format the text based on your needs, such as adjusting the style, spacing, or content structure.

Image

Use the image block to add a visual reference to the size chart. You can upload an image directly or use an existing image URL.

This is useful for measurement diagrams, product fit examples, or illustrations that help shoppers understand the sizing information.

Divider

Use the divider block to separate sections in the size chart. You can also add text inside the divider to label a section, such as “How to Measure” or “Size Conversion Guide.”

Video

Use the video block to add a video to the size chart. This can help show shoppers how to measure themselves or how a product is intended to fit.

Advanced Sections

Layouts

Use the layouts block to group content into special layouts. This is useful when you want to organize multiple pieces of content together in a more structured format.

Image + Caption

Use the image and caption block when you want to display an image with supporting text.

You can adjust where the text appears, such as beside, above, or below the image. You can also customize the text-to-image ratio depending on the layout you want.

Image Group

Use the image group block to display multiple images together. This block supports up to 5 images and includes different layout options depending on the number of images added.

For example, if you add 3 images, you can choose from multiple layout styles to control how the images are arranged.

International Conversion Size Chart

Use the international conversion size chart block to add a size conversion chart for international buyers.

This helps shoppers compare sizes across different regions or sizing standards.

You can select the “Conversion Chart Type” based on the type of conversion chart you want to display.

Tabs

Use the tabs block to organize content into separate sections within the same size chart.

Tabs are helpful when you want to keep the size chart concise while still including detailed information. For example, you can create separate tabs for measurement instructions, size descriptions, and illustrations.

Note: Tabs are an advanced feature and are only available on the Premium Plan.

Accordion

Use the accordion block to organize complex content into a list of collapsible items.

This is useful when you want to include detailed information without making the size chart too long.

HTML Code

Use the code block when you need more control over what appears in the size chart.

This block allows you to add raw HTML, which can be useful for custom layouts or content that cannot be created with the standard layout blocks.

Recommender

Use the recommender block to add product size recommendations to the size chart.

This can help shoppers pick the right size, based on the recommendation settings in Kiwi Size Chart & Recommender (Kiwi).
