How To Sync Size Charts Between Shopify Stores?

Learn how to seamlessly sync size charts across your Shopify stores.

Updated over a week ago

If you manage multiple shops with the same size charts, duplicating them can be a hassle. We've added an advanced feature that allows you to import size charts from one shop (the source store) to another (the target store) and keep them in sync. This means any updates or new size charts added in the source store will automatically sync to the target store.

Terms to Know

  • Target Store: The shop where size charts will be synced.

  • Source Store: The shop from which size charts are imported.

Setting Up Syncing

  1. Get Sync Password from the Source Store

    • Open Kiwi on the source store.

    • Go to "Styles & Settings" and click on the Advanced tab.

  2. Copy the random 10-character password displayed in the section. This password is required for the target store to import and link size charts from the source store.

⚠️ Important: You can’t re-sync charts that are already synced (unless you duplicate first)

If a size chart was synced from another store, it’s considered a linked chart. This means it can’t be re-synced again to another store directly.

Why?

Synced charts stay connected to the original source store, so Kiwi prevents syncing them again to avoid broken links or conflicting updates.

If you want to sync that chart to another store, you’ll need to duplicate it first in the store where you currently see it.

Steps:

  1. Open Kiwi Size Chart in the store where the chart is currently available

  2. Go to Size Charts

  3. Find the chart that is synced

  4. Click Duplicate

  5. Use the duplicated version (the copy) as the chart you sync moving forward

💡 Tip: The duplicated chart becomes a “local” chart, which means it can be synced normally.
