If you’re looking to set up a dog breed recommender, Kiwi Size Chart & Recommender provides two main methods. Using the General Recommender is recommended for its ease and efficiency.
1. Custom Recommender (More Time-Consuming)
To create a custom recommender, go to your size chart and select Custom Recommender.
First, set up a "Select Input" and then a "Switch Result."
In "Select Input," enter the list of dog breeds you’d like to display.
Next, in "Switch Result," map each breed to its recommended size.
While this option is flexible, note that it can become time-consuming if you’re listing more than 30 breeds.
General Recommender (Recommended for Ease of Setup)
First, prepare a table with columns for "Breed" and "Size."
Open the Recommender tab, and select Simple Generic Table Apparel Recommender.
The table you created will automatically populate for the recommender; select "Breed" to match the breed input.
Go to Measurement Fields Settings and set the input type of "Breed" to Select Dropdown.
Finally, under Settings, uncheck both options as they’re not applicable to this type of recommender.
Now, you should see a preview of the dog breed recommender on the right.
Tip: If you want to use the table only for the recommender and not display it in the size chart, you can hide it in Table Editor Settings.
