If you're trying to add a YouTube video to your Kiwi Size Chart and the link you're using is a YouTube Short, it will not display correctly inside the size chart.
Kiwi does not support embedding YouTube Shorts - only regular YouTube videos.
To fix this, you’ll need to make sure your video uploads to YouTube as a standard video, not a Short.
Why YouTube Turns Your Video Into a Short
YouTube automatically classifies a video as a Short when:
It is vertical (9:16 or similar)
ANDIt is under 60 seconds long
When this happens, YouTube generates a Shorts URL, which Kiwi cannot embed.
How to Prevent Your Video From Becoming a Short
1. Use a horizontal video (recommended)
Make sure the video is landscape, not vertical.
Recommended ratio: 16:9
Examples: 1920×1080, 1280×720, etc.
This ensures YouTube treats it as a regular upload.
2. If your video is vertical, add black bars to the sides
If your content was filmed vertically:
Add black bars on the left and right
Export the final video in a horizontal (16:9) format
This prevents YouTube from detecting it as a Short.
After Uploading: Use the Correct YouTube Link
Once your video is uploaded as a standard YouTube video:
Open the video on YouTube
Click Share
Copy the regular URL, for example:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XXXX
Paste this link into Kiwi
Avoid Shorts URLs
Do not use links like:
https://youtube.com/shorts/XXXX
Kiwi cannot display these.
