Customizing Fit Preference & Rise Labels in Kiwi

Updated this week

You can now customize the text labels shown in Kiwi’s Advanced Recommenders, giving you more control over how sizing guidance appears to shoppers.

This article explains what each label controls, which recommenders it applies to, and how to update the text safely.

What Can Be Customized

You can edit the following fields:

Fit Preference (All Advanced Recommenders)

  • Header of Fit Preference

This is the title shown above the Fit Preference selection (for example: Slim / Regular / Relaxed). It appears on all Advanced Recommenders.

Rise Labels (Pants‑specific Recommenders)

These options are shown only on recommenders where rise is relevant:

  • Pants

  • Shorts

  • Skirts

Customizable fields:

  • Header of Rise

  • Rise – Low label text

  • Rise – Mid label text

  • Rise – High label text

These control the section title and the individual rise option labels customers see when selecting their preference.

ℹ️ If you do not see Rise options, make sure you are editing a pants‑type Advanced Recommender. Rise settings will not appear for non‑pants recommenders.

Where to Change These Labels

  1. Open Kiwi in your Shopify admin

  2. Under Styles & Settings

  3. Go to Recommender

  4. Under Advanced Rec - scroll to the Label / Text settings section

  5. Update the desired fields:

    • Header of Fit Preference

    • Header of Rise (pants only)

    • Rise low / mid / high label text

  6. Save your changes

Changes apply immediately on the storefront.
