Automatically assign size charts to products using Shopify metafields. This helps you organize size charts by custom product details, like material, age group, fit type, region, or category.
Instead of selecting products one by one, Kiwi Size Chart & Recommender can use your Shopify metafield values. It can decide which size chart appears on each product page.
This is especially useful for stores with large catalogs. It also helps with products that need different-sized details based on custom attributes.
🔒 Note: Metafield conditions are available on paid plans only. Upgrade your plan to access this feature.
What Are Shopify Metafields?
Metafields let you store custom data on your Shopify products.
If you're already using metafields to tag products with attributes like fit type, material, or target age group, you can now use those same values to control which size chart appears - no manual product selection needed.

How to Set Up Product Matching with Metafields
Open the Kiwi Sizing editor and go to Product Matching.
Add a new condition and select Metafield as the condition type.
In the Select a product metafield field, enter your metafield in
namespace.keyformat.Set the value you want to match against.
Save your changes.
The size chart will automatically display on any product where that metafield matches the value you defined.
Finding Your Shopify Metafield Namespace and Key
Your metafield identifier follows the format namespace.key — for example custom.fit_type or custom.age_group.
You can find this in:
Shopify Admin → Products → select any product → scroll to Metafields
Shopify Admin → Settings → Custom data → Products
Tips for Using Metafields with Shopify Size Charts
Metafield conditions are ideal for large catalogs where manually assigning products is time-consuming
You can combine a metafield condition with other conditions, like product type or tag, for more precise matching
If a product doesn't have the metafield set or the value doesn't match, the size chart won't be assigned to it
