Transaction Processing Time

  • Most transactions are processed Instantly

  • Some domestic transactions may take 24-48 hours, depending on the recipient’s bank or payment provider

  • Sending or receiving money internationally may take between 1-5 days depending on the destination and intermediary banks involved

Viewing Transaction History

Check your Transaction History in the app to:

  • See all past transactions

  • Track the status of any pending transactions

Transaction Fees

  • Kixy to Kixy payments are free

  • Fees for other transactions depend on the currency, amount, and destination

  • You will always see the exact fee and exchange rate before confirming your transfer

Disputing a Transaction

When to Dispute a Transaction

Contact Kixy Customer Support if you notice:

  • Unauthorised transactions

  • Goods/services not received

  • Incorrect charges or duplicate charges

How to Dispute a Transaction

  1. Log in to your Kixy app

  2. Go to Transaction History

  3. Select the transaction in question

  4. Tap Report a Dispute, Fraud or Scam

  5. Briefly explain what went wrong and this will be escalated to a member of our Customer Support team

Or, you can contact our Customer Support team via:

  • In-App Chat: Start a chat with our Customer Support team through the app. After speaking with Kixy AI agent, tap on 'talk to a person' and a customer support agent will pick up your conversation

Our Customer Support team will then pickup this message and confirm the Dispute will then be investigated

Information Needed for Disputes

Provide these details when raising a dispute:

  • Your Kixy account email

  • Transaction ID or reference number

  • Date and time of the transaction

  • Amount and currency

  • A brief description of the issue

🧠 Once the Dispute is under investigation, our team will get back to you within 5-10 business days. Customer Support will also keep you updated to any changes to your Dispute via a dedicate Dispute Ticket


Important Tips to Avoid Scams

  1. Know Your Recipient

    • Avoid sending money to unknown individuals or businesses

    • Verify identities before transferring funds

  2. Pause and Verify

    • Scammers create a false sense of urgency. Double-check the reason for payment and don’t feel rushed

  3. Be Aware

    • Once money is sent, it can’t always be reversed
