At Kletterling, you have the following slides to choose from:
Uncoated:
Slide and chicken ladder, 100 cm long. Untreated wood, sanded several times to make it as soft as butter. Nevertheless, without varnish, which offers a significantly slower sliding speed but more control. Perfect for children aged 1 to 3 years.
Slide with climbing side, 100 cm long. Untreated wood, sanded several times to make it as soft as butter. Nevertheless, without varnish, which offers a significantly slower sliding speed, but more control. Perfect for ages 1 to 3 years.
Coated:
Ladder ramp 115 cm from KateHaa – unlike the normal slides, you can only go up or down by climbing. Perfect for setting up an obstacle course and the ladder ramp can even be used horizontally. Suitable from 1 year of age.
Climbing and sliding ramp 115 cm in 3 different designs (natural, pastel, rainbow) for even more customisation. Coated for extra-fast sliding. Suitable from 3 years of age.
What age for which slide?
I would still advise you to use the uncoated slide for children under 2 years of age and to use the coated slides for older children. If your child is just 2.5 years old, I would advise you to use the coated slide.
The reason for this is that young children can fall off the slide more easily on their heads. The untreated slides are perfect for this because they allow a slow sliding speed.
KateHaa's coated slides are more slippery because they are varnished and are of course much more fun and even have two straps for additional fastening when things get hot and there is a lot of romping.
