Effective email notification management ensures that you stay updated with the information you need while avoiding unnecessary emails. This guide outlines steps to customize your email notification settings, including enabling or disabling specific notifications.

User Notifications

  • Notifications:  Select this option to be notified via email when there are important Kno2 notifications for your review.

  • New messages received: Select this option to be notified via email any time a new message is received that you are designated to view/process

Administrator Notifications

  • Notifications:  Select this option to be notified via email when there are important Kno2 notifications for your review.

  • New messages received:  Select this option to be notified via email any time a new message is received that you are designated to view/process.

  • Unassigned message: Select this option to be notified via email anytime a new message is received and there are no rules designated for the message. 

  • Unprocessed messages: Select this option to be notified via email when there are unprocessed messages for longer than 24 hours in your organization.

  • Failed messages digest: Select this option to be notified via email when there are failed messages to be acknowledged. 

Turning Off Notifications

The notification options are configurable and can be turned on or off with a simple checkbox.

By default, the notifications are turned on when you first sign in to Kno2, with the exception of the Failed messages digest.

Allow up to 36 hours for changes to take effect.

  1. To configure the email notifications, click on your name in the upper right, then select My Profile.

  2. Select Email Notifications on the left.

  3. To modify preferences, locate the relevant event category and check or uncheck the boxes for the notifications you would like to receive or disable.

  4. Click on the 'Save Changes' button to apply your updates.

The 'Unassigned New Message' email notifications are triggered when a new message is received without being assigned to an intake rule or specific individual. By following the steps above, you can disable these notifications if they are not relevant to you.
