Frequently Asked Questions
1. Why am I getting email notifications about 'Unassigned New Message'?
The 'Unassigned New Message' email notifications are triggered when a new message is received without being assigned to an intake rule or specific individual. By following the steps above, you can disable these notifications if they are not relevant to you.
4. How do I troubleshoot persistent message failures?
When multiple attempts to resend failed messages result in errors, collect key details such as the URL of the failed message or the recipient fax number. Technical issues like busy fax lines may cause temporary failures that can be resolved by resending. For persistent issues, provide the collected information to Kno2 support for further investigation.
3. Why am I receiving persistent failed message notifications?
Failed message notifications continue until the messages are acknowledged or dismissed in the system. This ensures critical communication errors receive attention. To stop these notifications, navigate to the Notifications tab (bell icon) in Kno2, select the Failed Messages tab, and use the 'Dismiss All' option to clear all notifications. Alternatively, you can disable these notifications in your profile settings as described above.
2. How do I ensure my notification settings are up-to-date?
Review and update your notification preferences periodically by visiting the 'Email Notifications' section in your profile settings.
