Send Permissions allow Kno2 admins to designate the Direct addresses or fax numbers Kno2 users are allowed to send from.
Properly set Send Permissions ensure that Direct addresses or fax numbers appear as options in the 'From' field when sending messages. Without these, users may find themselves unable to send messages despite addresses or fax numbers being set up.
This can be done as you're creating the user account, or later as you're editing the user account or the Direct address/fax number permissions.
Edit User Account Send Permissions
Navigate to Settings > Users or Network Users.
Click the Edit button (pencil icon) to the right of their email address.
The Global Send Permission(s) field will display any fax numbers and/or direct addresses configured for all active users. (Please note: Global Send Permissions cannot be edited from the user screen.)
Use Additional Send Permission(s) to add desired fax numbers and/or direct addresses. (Please note: Globally assigned numbers and addresses will not be selectable in this field).
Save Changes.
Edit Address or Fax Number Send Permissions
Navigate to Settings > Kno2 Addresses (for Direct addresses) or Settings > Fax Numbers (for fax numbers).
Click the Edit button (pencil icon) to the right of the address or fax number.
Select Global permissions (applies to all users) or Specify a list of users for the Send Permissions(s) field:

Specify a list of users to manually add desired users
Save Changes.
Troubleshooting Issues with Fax Number Selection
Single Fax Number Scenario: Ensure that the single fax number set up has Send Permissions properly configured.
Integration-Specific Issues: If faxing works in integrated systems but not in Kno2, check and adjust permissions within Kno2 settings.
For further clarification, consult your organization's admin or Kno2 support.
Admin Role in Managing Send Permissions
Only admins with access to Kno2 settings can configure permissions for fax numbers and Direct addresses.
Admins ensure that users have access to the necessary resources, resolving authorization-related issues efficiently.
Conclusion
Properly configured Send Permissions are critical to ensuring smooth operations within Kno2. By addressing common troubleshooting scenarios and clarifying administrative responsibilities, organizations can ensure no disruption in sending messages.
