The Usage page in Knock2 gives you a clear view of how many accounts and contacts you are identifying during your current subscription period, and how your credits are being consumed. This article explains what you will see on the Usage page, how credits work, and how top-up credits are billed.

What the Usage Page Shows

From Settings → Usage, you can track:

  • Unique Accounts Identified during your billing period

  • Unique Contacts Identified during your billing period

  • Additional Contacts Sourced (auto-prospecting), if applicable

You can also click into each section to view the detailed records behind those totals.

How Credits Work

Knock2 uses a simple credit system to measure usage:

  • 1 credit = Each unique account identification

  • 6 credits = Each unique contact identification

  • 3 credits = Each unique contact sourced from an additional contact source

These credits are applied automatically as usage occurs.

Included Monthly Credits

Your monthly plan includes a set number of credits, which are shown directly in the Credit Usage section of the Usage page.

Here, you will see:

  • Total credits included in your plan

  • Total credits used so far

  • Percentage of credits consumed

This helps you easily track how your usage compares to your plan limits in real time.

Top-Up Credits and Billing

If you use more credits than what is included in your monthly plan, the additional usage is counted as top-up credits.

Important details about top-up credits:

  • Top-up credits are billed at the end of your subscription period

  • The top-up credit rate is 2c per credit

  • You will always see your total usage reflected in the Credit Usage section
