📊 Understanding Usage and Add-on Charges in Knock2
Knock2 tracks usage based on how many companies and contacts you identify each month. These are called Company Credits and Contact Credits. Each time Knock2 identifies a company or a person on your website, it counts as one credit.
🔍 Where to Track Usage
You can view your monthly usage by visiting:
Here, you’ll see:
Company Credits (e.g., 6,546 / 5,000)
Contact Credits (e.g., 318 / 500)
If you exceed your included credits, you’ll see a red notification banner in your dashboard.
🧾 What Happens When You Exceed Your Plan?
If your usage exceeds your plan limits:
You’ll be notified in your dashboard.
Add-on Credits will automatically apply.
You’ll be billed for the overage at the end of the month, based on how much extra you used.
🔍 Smart Billing
We always calculate the lowest possible cost for your overage by combining Add-On Credit packs in the most efficient way.
Example:
If you exceed your plan by 300 Contact Credits, you won’t be charged for a 500-pack ($85). Instead, we’ll apply three 100-contact Add-Ons at $20 each, for a total of $60.
You can upgrade your plan at any time to increase included credits and avoid add-on charges.

📅 Billing and Terms
Plans renew monthly
Cancel with 30 days’ notice to avoid automatic renewal.
Overage charges are billed monthly in arrears based on usage.
