How to Trigger Plays Based on Specific Page Visits

Written by John DiLoreto

Want to make sure your Knock2 plays only trigger when someone visits a key page—like a pricing page or a case study? You can do that using filters.

This works for Contacts Plays.

🛠️ Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Go to the Contacts Tab

Navigate to the Contacts section of your dashboard.

2. Open Filters

Click Filters and then click "Add Filter".

3. Select “Pages Visited”

In the dropdown, select Pages Visitedis one of.

You’ll now see a list of all pages Knock2 has tracked so far. These include pages that visitors have already landed on.

Pro Tip: If you don’t see the page you’re looking for (e.g., /pricing), you can manually type it in and hit Enter. Knock2 will begin tracking it once it’s visited.

4. Save Your Filter

Give your filter a name like Visited Key Pages and click Save.

5. Apply It to a Play

  • Go to your Play

  • Click Details.

  • Under the filter section, select the filter you just created.

Now this play will only trigger when someone visits one of the specific pages you defined.

✅ That’s it!

Your play is now targeting only high-intent page visits (like your Pricing, Case Studies, or Get a Quote pages).
