The Contacts tab shows your website visitors at the individual contact level, including who they are, where they work, and how they engaged with your site.

This article walks through how to navigate, customize, filter, qualify, and take action on contacts inside Knock2.

What You See in the Contacts Tab

By default, contacts are sorted by most recent visit, so the newest activity always appears first.

For each contact, you can view:

  • Personal and company details

  • Visit activity and behavioral signals

  • CRM status (if connected)

  • Company firmographics

  • Persona details

  • Technology tags

  • Document referrer and UTM parameters

You can scroll horizontally to view additional columns as needed.

Adjusting the Date Range

Use the date range picker at the top of the table to control the time window you are viewing.

This allows you to:

  • View todayโ€™s activity

  • Review the past 7, 14, or 30 days

  • Analyze historical engagement trends

All filtering, exports, and actions apply to the selected date range.

Customizing Your Columns

You can fully control which columns are visible and how they are arranged:

  1. Click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner of the table

  2. Select Columns

  3. Drag and drop to reorder columns

  4. Hide columns you do not need

  5. Resize columns to fit your layout

โœ… Column preferences are saved per user.

Customizing Action Items

Action items allow you to take direct action on contacts.

To customize actions:

  1. Click the three-dot menu

  2. Select Actions

  3. Drag and drop to reorder

  4. Hide any actions you do not use

This lets you tailor the UI to match your sales motion.

Qualifying and Disqualifying Leads

Each contact includes a qualification column, allowing you to:

  • ๐Ÿ‘ Qualify strong leads

  • ๐Ÿ‘Ž Disqualify poor fits

These decisions automatically feed into your Lead Score, helping Knock2 continuously improve lead quality over time.

Filtering Contacts

You can create powerful filters directly from the Contacts tab using the Filters button.

You can filter on:

  • Lead Score

  • Job title

  • Location

  • Contact details

  • Company firmographics

  • Engagement behavior

  • And more

Exporting, Scoring, and Taking Action

From the Contacts tab, you can:

  • Push contacts to your connected tools

  • Export selected or filtered contacts

  • Re-score contacts after updating your Lead Score rules

Once connected to your CRM, Slack, or sales engagement platform, you can automatically:

  • Create or update CRM records

  • Send contacts to Slack

  • Enroll contacts into outbound platforms

All of this happens directly from the action items within the Contacts table.
