Unify Integration

Sync identified contacts into Unify as Person records, tagged as sourced by Knock2.

Unify is a go-to-market platform for warm outbound and customer data. Connecting Unify to Knock2 syncs the contacts Knock2 identifies into your Unify workspace as Person records, automatically tagged with a Lead Source of "Knock2" so you can filter and action them in your Unify Plays.

Unify connects with an API key and is shared across your workspace. Records are matched by email (and their company by domain), so existing records are updated rather than duplicated.


What you'll need

  • A Unify account with API access

  • Admin access in Knock2 to connect a workspace integration


Step 1: Get your Unify API key

  1. Log in to Unify.

  2. Go to Settings β†’ API keys and copy your API key.


Step 2: Connect Unify in Knock2

  1. In the Knock2 dashboard, open the App Marketplace.

  2. Find Unify in the App Marketplace and click Connect.

  3. Paste your Unify API key and save.

When you connect, Knock2 also adds a Lead Source attribute to your Unify Person object (if it doesn't already exist) so you can easily filter for leads that came from Knock2.


Step 3: Sync contacts with a Workflow

  1. Go to Workflows and create or edit a workflow.

  2. Choose Contacts as the source and set your filters.

  3. For the output, select Unify.

  4. Save and activate. Matching contacts are upserted into Unify as Person records with Lead Source = Knock2, and linked to their company by domain.
