Setting Up Your Lead Score

Your Lead Score tells Knock2 which companies and buyers are the best fit for your business. This powers scoring, Slack alerts, filters, and workflows.

To set up your Lead Score:

  1. Navigate to either:

    • Contacts tab → click the three dots (•••) → select Lead Score

    • Accounts tab → click the three dots (•••) → select Lead Score

  2. You will see two fields to complete:

Ideal Company Type

Describe the types of companies you want to target in one clear sentence.

Example:
“North American SaaS companies with 20–200 employees and strong inbound traffic.”

Buyer Personas

Describe the roles that typically buy your product.

Example:
“Sales, Marketing, RevOps, or Growth leaders.”

  1. Click Save to apply your Lead Score.

New visitors will immediately be scored based on your Lead Score. If you want to re-score existing leads, simply select them and click Score.

Adding Teammates

To add teammates to your account, click on Settings and then Account. Click "Add A Teammate". You can add as many teammates as you'd like.

Connecting Slack

To connect Slack, first create a new channel in your Slack account. For example, #knock2-leads.

Next, proceed to settings, then click Slack. Click Connect.

You'll be redirected to Slack's website. Please ensure your correct Slack Channel is selected in the top right corner. Then select your channel and click "Allow".

You'll be redirected to sign in to Knock2. Then return to Slack Settings to configure filters.

If you'd like, each Team Member can set up their own Slack channel with their own filters.

Connecting Hubspot or Salesforce

Go to settings, then Integrations. Select Hubspot or Salesforce from the drop down. Click Connect. You'll be redirected to Hubspot or Salesforce where you will complete the 0Auth process for the integration. After, return to the Integrations page to confirm a successful integration.

For Hubspot, as a final step, please select a Sales Pipeline.

For Salesforce, no further action is needed.
