Step 1: Create a Slack channel
In your Slack workspace, create a dedicated channel for your Knock2 notifications.
For example: #knock2-leads
.
Step 2: Log in and navigate to Slack settings
Log in to your Knock2 dashboard.
On the left-hand menu, go to Settings → Slack.
Step 3: Connect your Slack workspace
Click Connect.
You’ll be redirected to Slack’s authorization page.
Make sure the correct Slack workspace is selected (check the top right corner).
Choose the Slack channel you created earlier and click Allow.
Once connected, you’ll be redirected back to your Knock2 dashboard.
Step 4: Configure your Slack notifications
Now that your Slack is connected, revisit Slack Settings in Knock2 to set up what notifications you’d like to receive and apply filters.
✅ Company Leads — See account-based website visitors.
✅ Contacts — See individual contact-level visitors.
We recommend enabling both for full visibility, but you can choose what’s most useful for your team.
Step 5: Apply filters (optional but recommended)
You can refine the leads that show up in Slack using filters:
For Company Leads, filters include Sector, Industry, Employee Count, Account Tags, and more — similar to the filters in the Legacy Company Feed.
For Contacts, you can use advanced filters like:
ICP score
Job title or department
Specific pages visited
Pre-saved filters from your Contacts tab
If you’ve already set up preset filters in the Contacts tab, you can select those from the dropdown in Slack settings. From then on, only leads matching your filters will trigger Slack notifications.
Step 6: Team members can set up their own
Each team member can connect their own Slack channel with personalized filters if they prefer.
