Knock2 has 2 types of website visitor technologies.
The first is reverse-IP lookup. This is what identifies companies in the "Company Feed". The second is an identity graph. This is what identifies the exact US-based visitors in the "People Feed".
Company Feed will identify ~50% of your global traffic.
People Feed will identify ~10% of your US traffic.
Finally, Knock2 offers a 'prospecting' functionality, to find relevant contacts for your Company Feed identifications. (e.g. Find me the CEO of X company).
Segments allow you to filter and save your Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) Segments.
For example, Financial Services companies, with over 500 employees, in the US.
To create a segment, in the dashboard, navigate to the "Company Feed". Then click "Create Segment". Give it a title. Click "Create Segment".
Select filters from the drop downs. If you need help understanding any of the filters, you can hover over the tooltips for an explanation.
Click Save when you are done.
For best practice, try to use as few filters as possible.
