Avoid asking your team to use “yet another tool” by using our Slack integration.

Now your team can benefit from everything KYT has to offer all through the tool that they’re already using: Slack.

Get questions, Icebreakers, and summaries delivered to your team via Slack direct messages. Here's an example of what it looks like to receive a message in Slack with our integration:

Our Slack integration is a great way to encourage folks to engage in KYT. It can be used alongside or as a replacement for email, and every person can decide what's their personal preference in their personal messaging settings.

Here's how to set up the Slack integration

Visit "Email & messaging" in the upper righthand corner of your navigation:

Then, click "Connect to Slack" on the page:

You'll then be prompted to log in to your workspace in Slack – and that's it! 🎊

To do this, you'll want to visit the tool page settings and click "Change settings." For example, here are the Heartbeat settings:

Then you'll want to specify which Slack channel you'd like the message or questions delivered:

Integrating with a private Slack channel

Then, in KYT, you can select the private channel to integrate with.
