Booking Holdings Sponsored Listings is a self-serve advertising solution that places your hotel at the top of search results across Booking.com, Priceline, and Agoda, reaching millions of travelers actively searching for a place to stay.
What it is and who it is for
Sponsored Listings uses a cost-per-click (CPC) advertising model. You set a budget, choose your hotels, and your property appears as a sponsored result when travelers search in your market. You only pay when a traveler clicks your ad.
Sponsored Listings works for any hotel or aparthotel on Booking.com, from independent properties to large chains and management groups. It's most effective when your account is consistently funded, and your Booking.com listing is complete and competitive.
How your ads appear
Booking.com - labeled "Ad"
Priceline.com - labeled "Promoted"
Agoda.com - labeled "Promoted"
All three publishers are covered under one campaign. You don't manage each site separately.
How it differs from organic listings
Your property already appears organically in search results based on Booking.com's ranking algorithm (which considers reviews, pricing, availability, and other factors).
Sponsored Listings places your property in premium sponsored placements within search results, increasing the chances that travelers click on your property.
Sponsored Listings and organic rankings are managed independently. Changes to your organic listing (photos, descriptions, rates) must be made directly with Booking.com, Agoda, or Priceline.
How you're charged
You're charged on a cost-per-click basis using a second-price auction. If your bid is $1.75 and the next highest bidder is $1.40, you pay $1.41, one cent above the next winner, not your full bid. This means you never overpay to win an auction.
