There are three ways to keep track of your assignment due dates:
Email reminder. You’ll receive an email the day before the due date.
Notifications. You’ll get a message in the Notifications area at the top of the screen.
Red deadline bar. When the deadline is 3 days away or less, a red bar shows that it’s getting closer.
What if my teacher changes the deadline?
Sometimes your teacher may give the class more time, even after the original deadline has passed. If this happens and you haven’t finished the assignment:
You’ll get an in-app notification that the assignment has been updated.
You’ll get the usual reminder email the day before the new deadline.
You can submit your work until the new deadline.
If your class uses an LMS such as Canvas, the assignment will also reopen there with the new due date.
Keep an eye on these reminders and try to stick to your deadlines. Your teacher may not accept work after the deadline has passed unless they’ve given you extra time. 🤓
