How does the Strength Bar work?

What influences the Strength Bar in the Table of Contents and does it change over time?

The Strength Bar helps you identify your knowledge strength for each subtopic, helping you to recognise which parts you are mastering well and which parts you need to work on.

Combining the Strength Bar with the Reading Progress Tracker helps you to distinguish those parts of the syllabus you should be focusing on in your studies. Identifying weaknesses and strengths early on will help you to structure your studies and work tasks effectively.

The Strength Bar is an algorithm taking three factors into account:

  1. Quantity of practice questions taken (Strength questions & Strength battles)

  2. Performance on the taken practice questions

  3. Frequency of taking practice questions

As you take strength tests and battles, your Strength Bar will go up or down based on your average score.

It is also built to mimic human memory, which means that even if your Strength Bar reaches its maximum level, it will automatically decrease over time if you are inactive.

Don't be surprised if your strength has dropped after a month of not testing yourself on a subtopic. This is because our memory is not perfect and we tend to forget things as time goes by.
