Sometimes your integration (e.g. Clever, ClassLink, or another LMS) may disconnect. This usually happens if your login credentials change or if the authorization between Kognity and your integration expires. When this happens, syncing of classes and students will pause until the connection is restored.

Reminder: Please ensure you’re signed in with an admin account before proceeding.

How to Reconnect

  1. Having trouble signing in? Make sure you’re using the same email address you used when setting up the integration. If you still can’t access your account, try resetting your password by clicking “Forgot password” on Edlink’s login page.

  2. Click Sources in the left-hand sidebar.

  3. Select the data source you want to troubleshoot (this is your LMS, such as Clever, ClassLink, or another supported provider).

  4. To reconnect your admin account, open the data source menu and click Settings.

  5. Then click the blue Connect button under Administrator Account to proceed.

The next steps are crucial to ensure everything works correctly.

  6. After reconnecting, click Save Configuration.

  7. Then, click Validate Configuration to confirm the setup.

Note: When the connection is successful, green checkmarks will appear

If validation fails:

  • Make sure the account you reconnected in Step 2 is an Admin or Super Admin account, then try again.

Connecting as a New Admin

If you’re a new admin setting up your account:

  1. Make sure you’ve received an invitation to join the team in Edlink.

  2. Create your Edlink account using that invitation.

  3. Once your account is ready, follow the steps above to connect your admin account.
