The Admin Dashboard provides district-level visibility and control across your schools. It’s designed to give administrators actionable insights into teacher and student usage, helping you track adoption, support onboarding, and ensure seamless setup across your district.

Note: Schools or districts using manual rostering will not have access to the Admin Dashboard at this stage. All customers using an integration (via Clever or Edlink) have access to the dashboard.

Accessing the Dashboard

District Administrators can access the Admin Dashboard directly through:

  • app.kognity.com, or

  • The Clever or ClassLink Launchpad, by clicking the Kognity icon.

Once logged in, the Admin Dashboard will appear as the default home screen for district-level users.

Navigation Overview

Admin Dashboard

From the left-hand menu, you can access:

  • Overview

  • Schools

  • Teachers

  • Students

  • Classes

    • Adding Classes from the Class View (Coming Soon)

  • Staff users

Overview

Overview page

The Overview page gives you a quick snapshot of your district setup. You’ll see:

  • Number of schools

  • Number of teachers

  • Number of classes

  • Number of students

This helps confirm at a glance that your integration is working correctly and that data is syncing as expected.

Schools

Schools page

The Schools page lists all schools in your district. For each school, you can view:

  • Number of teachers, classes, and students

  • Date the school was added

Use the search bar to quickly locate a specific school and check configuration details to ensure data accuracy.

Teachers

Teachers page

The Teachers page provides detailed usage data for all teachers. Here you can:

  • Filter or search by school

  • Review total usage time

  • Check the number of assigned classes

  • View last active date

This helps identify high-engagement teachers (to celebrate and model best practices) and those who may benefit from onboarding or additional support.

Students

Students page

The Students page offers insights into student engagement and class participation. You’ll be able to see:

  • The school they belong to

  • Number of enrolled classes

  • Assignments completed

  • Total usage time and last active date

This makes it easy to spot students who may need guidance or additional follow-up.

Classes

Classes page

The Classes page will allow admins to dive deeper into class-level data — including student performance and assessment insights — to better support teachers with adoption and pedagogical alignment.

Staff users

Staff users page

The Staff users page allows district administrators to manage access for key staff members, such as principals and coordinators.

Here you can:

  • Search for staff by name using the search bar.

  • View their title and current access level.

  • Adjust permissions by selecting Access settings next to their name.

  • Set or update multiple users’ access at once by using the Set access button.

Access settings

This feature helps ensure that only authorized staff have the appropriate level of access to school and district data.
