Only school Admins can bulk upload student accounts and classes. Click on "Admin area".
Similarly, your school's Kognity administrator will be able to click the "Visit admin dashboard" button.
Click on the "Students" tab, click on "Add student" and click on "Import CSV".
Begin by selecting the year group the students will be a part of. This is important, as the year group determines what type of access the students have, and when their accounts will be archived.
If you are uploading a new cohort of students and the relevant year group has not yet been created, please return to the main dashboard interface and go to the ‘Year Groups’ tab to create a new year group first.
Then, upload a CSV file with the first name, last name and email of the students to be uploaded. If you need a blank template to fill in, you can download one by clicking ‘download blank CSV template’. If your file is not a CSV, you can change it by opening the file on your computer, and clicking ‘save as CSV’ or ‘export as CSV’.
After attaching the file, a summary will be displayed for you to review the details prior to uploading.
Clicking ‘Continue to import’ will begin the upload process. Please note that this may take a few minutes. You’ll see a success message when it’s finished! If your students' names don't immediately appear on the list, please refresh the page.
