The Assignment Basket is a powerful new feature within our digital textbook that is designed to make the process of creating book assignments more efficient for teachers. With valuable insights indicating a 30% time-saving compared to the traditional method, the Assignment Basket enhances flexibility and convenience in managing book assignments.
Teachers can leverage the Assignment Basket in two simple ways:
From the Subject Overview
Navigate to the Subject Overview.
Add the sections to the basket by clicking the clipboard icon located on the right-hand side of each section.
Monitor your selections with a glance at the assignments basket in the top menu bar, which dynamically reflects the number of chosen sections.
Customize your assignment
Create a name for your assignment.
Rearrange the sections if necessary.
Add a message with specific instructions for your students.
Check recipients or send to multiple classes (on the same subject) by clicking "+ Edit recipients" and selecting specific classes or students.
Schedule assignment to be automatically sent at a later date
Set a deadline.
Click "Review" to add more sections to the assignment, "Send" to send it now, "Save draft" to save it and review it for later use, or "Discard draft".
From the textbook
Access the desired section or content option within the textbook.
Click the "Assign" button to add it to the Assignment Basket.
Once you've made your content selections, specify the pertinent details for the book assignment, choose to schedule the assignment for future delivery, save it as a draft, or send it immediately.
Content saved in the Assignment Basket allows you to browse and evaluate before finalizing and sending out the assignment, even between logins.
