If you see this error message in Kontentino, it means that while trying to sync your data with Facebook, the Facebook page was not found, or it's not linked to your account.

In other words, you need to check if the Facebook page hasn't been deleted/blocked or if you have sufficient permissions.

By following these few steps, you should be able to resolve the problem in no time.

1. Check if your Facebook page is not deactivated/deleted, or blocked.

2. Make sure you manage your Facebook page as an editor or admin.

Make sure you have a Facebook business page that you manage with an Editor or Admin role (Classic page), or full access in People with Facebook access (New page experience).

To check the roles and permissions on a Facebook page, go to Settings > Page roles, where you can check and change the roles and permissions of your users (Classic page), or switch to the profile of the page and then go to Settings > New Pages experience (New page experience):

Alternatively, you can have a Full access role in the Meta Business Suite/Manager.

2. Reauthorize Facebook with Kontentino.

Once you confirm your roles and permissions, reauthorize Facebook's connection with Kontentino.

  • Remove the Kontentino integration from Facebook Business Integrations

Open the page https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=business_tools&ref=settings. Locate Kontentino and check the box to select it. Click Remove > click again on Remove > Done.

⚠️ Please note: During the removal process, do not click on “Delete posts, videos, or events Kontentino posted on your timeline” unless you wish to remove all the posts published by Kontentino on Facebook.

  • Set up page authorization in Kontentino

Back in Kontentino, go to Your profile > Social Login > Facebook > Authorize with one click.

Afterwards, you’ll be prompted to follow the standard steps for linking your pages to Kontentino:

  • Your page is now reauthorized

Awesome! ✨ You’ll know the reauthorization process was successful when you see that the following permissions in Social Login are turned on:

  • Check your connected Facebook pages

To check what Facebook pages you have linked with Kontentino, go to Your profile > Social Login > Facebook. You should see your connected pages under Facebook page posts & comments management.
