Why is my preferred PIN not accepted?

card – Visa – desired – PIN – acceptance

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Your PIN is a four‑digit number that you enter when withdrawing cash at ATMs or when paying in stores with your physical Visa Business card. For security reasons, certain PINs are blocked and will not be accepted:

  • PINs that include elements of your date of birth

  • PINs that include elements of your address, such as your postal code

  • Repeating digits, e.g. 1111

  • Sequential digits, e.g. 1234

If your PIN is not accepted, please try a different combination.
