What is the benefit of giving Kontist Tax Advisory access to my bookkeeping tool?

Giving Kontist Tax Advisory access to your bookkeeping tool provides the tax team with all the relevant information on all your income and expenses. This is necessary for a more accurate calculation of your taxes, where all income and expenses are properly booked and accounted for.

If you are unable to give us access to your bookkeeping tool as your new tax advisor, Kontist Tax Advisory will need you to download a single DATEV export (with either 1 or more .csv files). Please note that all your transactions in your accounting tool must be accompanied by an invoice and payment date, otherwise the export will not be complete.

In addition to the DATEV export, please upload the following documents to the 2021 Tax folder:

  • All invoices for incoming transactions

  • All receipts for outgoing expenses

  • Bank statements

  • List of assets for 2020

The invoices, receipts, bank statements, and list of assets can be uploaded in PDF, PNG, JPG, JPEG, TIFF, CSV, DOC, and similar file formats.

Please note that the upload folder is only accessible on desktop, not on the mobile app or mobile web.
