This article has been written for the Koru Kids Nanny Service for nannies who are thinking about applying.

Part of the after school nanny role will involve preparing simple meals for the children, but don’t worry, you don’t need to be a professional chef!

If you aren’t very confident in the kitchen, it is best to be upfront with any families you are matched with. Then you can work together to make sure the children are getting healthy and nutritious meals.

If there are certain foods you aren’t comfortable cooking due to personal beliefs, you will have the opportunity to tell us during the application process so we can take it into consideration when looking for families for you.
