You don’t need First Aid training to apply for the after school nanny role.

Once you have accepted a job offer from a family, you’ll be invited to complete a free online paediatric First Aid Training.

Our training offers a crash-course that's specifically designed for the needs of the after school nanny role. It takes around 3.5 hours to complete, which you can pause and return to if needed.

The course has been developed by our in house training team (made up of a former teacher and former nanny) covering the following topics:

  • How to handle a child who collapses - including primary survey, CPR and the recovery position

  • Choking

  • Shock

  • Head and spinal injuries

  • Burns

  • Bleeds

  • Poisoning

  • Fractures and dislocations

  • COVID-19

  • Administering medicines

In addition to our standard First Aid Training, we also offer free 1-to-1 sessions with a certified first aid trainer on the following topics:

  • Epilepsy and seizures

  • Allergic reaction and autoinjector (Anaphylaxis and EpiPen)

  • Diabetes

  • Asthma

If the family who hire you would like you to take one of these sessions, please just get in touch and we'll send a booking link for you to arrange this at your convenience.
