Overview of the application process when applying to become a Koru Kids nanny

Updated over 2 months ago

This article has been written for the Koru Kids Nanny Service for nannies who are thinking about applying.

First, we'll make sure to check through our online application form if you're eligible for the role.

If you are, you'll then:

  • create your profile

  • fill in your availability

  • give us the contact details of at least two referees (more info here)

  • share your DBS and health declaration info (don’t worry, we pay for your DBS!)

  • upload some identity documents so we can check you’ve got the right to work in the UK

Once you've completed the steps above and your references are returned and approved, you'll application will be complete and you'll be able to start contacting families.

You'll be invited to do your First Aid training, and general on-the-job training and to complete a DBS check once you've matched with a family. However, you can always do the general training earlier via the link in your profile and some nannies find it helpful to do that training before they talk to families.
