We carefully vet all of our nanny applicants and less than 10% make it through. We collect at least two detailed references for each candidate, check their ID documents, and ask them to complete a health declaration. Read more about the process here.

Age and Experience

All of our nannies are at least 18 years old and have relevant childcare experience, including:

  • Babysitting

  • Nannying

  • Volunteering at local youth groups

  • Raising their own children

Key Qualities

We look for nannies who are:

  • Reliable

  • Responsible

  • Proactive

  • Have good judgment

  • Enthusiastic about working with children

  • Passionate about child development, fun ideas, and understand the responsibility involved

Screening Process

Nannies must pass our comprehensive screening process, which includes:

  • A written application

  • ID checks

Enhanced DBS Check and First Aid

Training

  • Nannies must complete an in-depth online training course, designed by our team of qualified teachers and former nannies.
