This help centre article has been written for the Koru Kids nanny service

All of our nannies are at least 18 years old and have demonstrated relevant childcare experience. This could include things such as babysitting, nannying, helping at their local youth group, or even raising their own children.

We look for people who are reliable, responsible, proactive, show good judgement and are enthusiastic about working with children. We expect all nannies to be passionate about working with kids – they have to be full of fun ideas and understand the responsibility they are taking on.

Nannies also have to pass our further screening process, which involves a written application, ID checks and at least two excellent references taken by us.

Koru Kids will process an enhanced DBS check and provide paediatric first aid training once you confirm you'd like to hire a nanny. Find out more here.

Your nanny must also complete our in-depth online training course created by our team of qualified teachers and former nannies.
