This help centre article has been written for the Koru Kids nanny service

The contract specifies the weekly salary that your nanny can expect to earn, not what you will pay to Koru Kids. It is the gross weekly amount, calculated from their standard hours of work, before holiday pay is added.

When holiday pay is included, they will get an extra 12.07% on top of their gross weekly salary. In total, including their holiday pay, your nanny will get £9 to £13 per hour. The amount they get will depend on their age, childcare experience, and time worked at Koru Kids.

After 6 months and 12 months of working with Koru Kids, your nanny will get a 50p pay rise. This is funded by us from your service fee. It recognises your nannies development and experience while working as a nanny. But if you'd like them to earn an even higher wage, let us know and we can adjust your nanny's rate and your rate accordingly.

More info on how holiday pay works can be found here.
