This help centre article has been written for the Koru Kids nanny service
Instead of being entitled to paid holiday, our nannies are paid their accrued holiday pay alongside their basic wages each month.
This means your nanny will always be up-to-date with any pay for holiday that they are owed. It also simplifies things for everyone, so there are no surprise extra charges or money held back.
This means that if your nanny does take a holiday, it will be considered unpaid leave and should be mutually agreed between you and them - they'll also need to log the leave on their timesheet.
More info on how holiday pay works can be found here.
