You may choose to give your nanny cash or a prepaid card to cover pre-agreed expenses during a shift. For example, if you want them to take your child to the cinema, or if you need them to take your child in a taxi.

Always follow these basic principles:

  • Be 100% clear in advance what you expect them to spend the money on, and what the maximum budget is

  • At the end of the shift, ask for the change back (or the card provided), along with any receipts

  • Never give out your personal credit or debit card. Provide a pre-paid debit card, or cash instead.

Acceptable Payment Methods:

Koru Kids has no relationship with any of these providers, these suggestions are provided for your reference only. Please note: some providers may charge a small monthly or transaction fee.

Unacceptable Payment Methods

  • Your personal credit or debit card
