At some point, the time will come for your little one to leave their home nursery - maybe they’re going to school or a different form of childcare, or perhaps you’re moving away from the area.
Once you’ve decided that you no longer need a space in your home nursery, you’ll need to give 8 weeks notice to your Early Educator. This time period can often be reduced if they have a waiting list of other children.
The best thing to do is to have the conversation about your child leaving as soon as you can with your Early Educator, even if you haven’t fully made your mind up yet. This allows them to start speaking to the families on their waitlist and to start marketing the newly available space ahead of time - this increases the chance they’ll be able to reduce their notice period for you.
