How Do Contacts Utilize CORE Home via Webpage?

Your contacts will log onto your CORE Home website from an automatic Market Report or Search Alert email. The first time they log in they will need to create a new account.

If there is a home address added to their contact record, they’ll be prompted to confirm their address. They’ll then have access to a report with market information, mortgage & insurance sections, and a home estimate.

Selecting ‘My Search’ from the navigation menu will show your contact homes based on the Search Alerts set up in their contact record, their saved properties, and the opportunity to continue searching.

If your contacts want to chat with you directly they can use the ‘Start Chat’ button from a listing, or the chat bubble that appears at the bottom left.

Your contacts can then chat directly with you, using the chat feature. Find their messages from your btPRO dashboard using the chat button.

Notifications

Your contacts will have access to Core HOME's Notifications panel, which they can open by clicking on the bell icon that will appear on the CORE Home website's top navigation menu.

Your contacts will be notified of various events and required items to complete. These include, but are not limited to:

  • My Home:

    • Reminder to add address

    • Reminder to add mortgage info

    • Reminder to add insurance policy

    • Inactive for 30 days → Reminder to check value

  • Chat:

    • Unread messages

  • Move:

    • New activation

    • Reminders at days 2, 3, and 4 days from move date

    • Reminders at the 50% and 76% progress points

  • Maintenance:

    • New seasonal checklist available

    • Reminder at 30 days inactive

    • Reminder once inactive for 3 days after engaging

  • Transaction:

    • New activation

    • Reminders at days 2, 3, and 4 days from closing date

    • Reminders at the 50% and 76% progress points

Enabling Text and Email Notifications

In order to modify their notification preferences, the contact can click on the hamburger icon at the top right of the website to access their profile settings.

Clicking on the plus sign next to 'Notifications' will allow homeowners to opt into receiving text notifications. Email notifications are enabled by default.

Where Does the Information My Contacts See Come From?

The information on the CORE Home website page your contacts have access to comes from the Address, Market Report, and Search Alert sections of btPRO.

How to Update the Contact Address

The contact’s home address can be updated from the contact record. Click ‘Add Address’ and fill in the information.

How to Update Market Reports

To update the Market Reports linked to your contacts go to their contact record and find the ‘Market Reports’ section on the right-hand side.

Update the Market Reports using the edit icon, or add a new one with the ‘+Add’ button on the top.

How to Update Search Alerts

Your contact's Search Alerts can be found and edited from their contact record. Select ‘Alerts’ at the top.
