How do I obtain an ID card?

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana has several options for members to obtain their ID cards.


​Download a digital ID card to your cell phone:

  1. Visit the MyLABlue app on your Android or iPhone.

  2. Log in to your account.

  3. Open the BCBSLA app and select My ID Card

4. Your ID card will appear. All the same information will be shown as it is on the physical ID card.

MyLABlue Desktop and Mobile:

  1. Visit MyLABlue.com.

  2. Log in to your account.

  3. Click the green icon with three lines.

  4. On the left side of the screen, under the My Plans heading, click the Download ID Cards link.

Your ID card will appear. All the same information will be shown as it is on the physical ID card.

Email:

Request your cards by filling out our secure Member Inquiry Form.

Customer Service:
Request your card through the phone at 1-800-495-2583.

Note: Please allow 7-10 business days for you to receive your ID cards in the mail.
