This is how to add or change a PCP based on whether you are the policyholder or member on the policy:
If you are the policyholder, set up a MyLABlue account and update your PCP in MyLABlue:
Log in to your MyLABlue account.
At top left, click the hamburger menu.
In list, under Find Care, select Find a Provider.
In search box, enter provider's first and last name or enter “PCP.”
Click magnifying glass icon. A list of results displays. If provider is eligible, the “Eligible to select as your Primary Care Physician” message displays.
Click Select to set provider as PCP.
To update the PCP for a member on someone’s policy, call the number on the back of your ID card to speak to a customer service representative.
