Creating a Lalilo shortcut
You can create a Lalilo icon on the launch screen of your students' devices, just like any other app. To do so, follow these easy steps.
CHROME
Computers
Open Chrome;
Navigate to the page you want to add as an app (for example, https://student.lalilo.com/#/classes, and then enter your school code);
At the top right, click "More", or the three vertical dots;
Click "More Tools";
Click "Create shortcut";
Enter a name for the shortcut and click "Create".
Tablets
Launch the Chrome for Android App.
Navigate to the page you want to add as an app (for example, https://student.lalilo.com/#/classes, and then enter your school code);
Tap on the three vertical dots on the far right.
Select the Add to Home Screen option from the list.
SAFARI
Computers
Open Safari;
Navigate to the page you want to add as an app (for example, https://student.lalilo.com/#/classes, and then enter your school code);
Click on the URL, and drag and drop it on your launch screen, an icon will appear.
iPads
Open Safari;
Navigate to the page you want to add as an app (for example, https://student.lalilo.com/#/classes, and then enter your school code);
Click on the URL, and drag and drop it on your launch screen, an icon will appear.
FIREFOX
Open Firefox;
Navigate to the page you want to add as an app (for example, https://student.lalilo.com/#/classes, and then enter your school code);
Click on the padlock next to the URL (on the left), and drag and drop it on your launch screen, an icon will appear.
Bookmarking Lalilo
You can bookmark Lalilo in the browser used by your students.
Chrome for tablets
Open Google Chrome
Go on https://student.lalilo.com/#/ and enter the school code
Then select the options to the right of the url bar (push on the three small dots); select "Add to homepage" and add the shortcut to your tablet home page.
Then quit your internet browser.
Chrome for desktop
With the basic Android web browser
If you don't have Google Chrome, you can also do a similar procedure by going to the default internet browser but we recommend you use Google Chrome
Open the internet application of your tablet
Go on https://student.lalilo.com/#/ and enter the school code
Then select the options at the bottom of the menu bar.
Select "Add page to" then indicate "Home Screen" and select "Add"
Then quit your internet browser. The icon is now on your phone home screen
Safari
Open Safari
Go on https://student.lalilo.com/#/ and enter the school code
Click ‘Bookmarks’ on the toolbar (top of screen), then select ‘Add Bookmark’ (from the drop down menu)
On the menu that appears: Name the bookmark and add it to a folder
Click ‘Add’
Firefox
Open Firefox
Go on https://student.lalilo.com/#/ and enter the school code
Use keyboard short cut: Ctrl+D
A menu will appear labeled: Edit This Bookmark
Name the bookmark, choose the folder you want it in, then select ‘done’
