Lalilo now offers the opportunity to individual teachers on free trial or basic version (in United States and Canada only), to purchase a classroom license for their own teacher account, and not for the whole school or district. You will be able to access Lalilo's Complete version by purchasing online a license for one year, with a limit of 40 students.

Who is this intended for ?

  • Teachers on free trial period or with the Basic version,

  • Teaching to up to 40 students

  • And who signed up in the US or Canada, no matter the curriculum language (French or English), no matter how many classes they have registered on their account.

What does it include ?

There are now 3 types of access to Lalilo : Basic version, school-district license and the classroom license that is now the latest one.

You can check below what is included with each access and what the differences are :

How can I buy a classroom license ?

First, you need to be logged-in to your Lalilo account.

Then, you need to create a class on your account.

Once inside your class, if you are still on the free trial version or using the Basic one, you'll get this banner on the top of the page :

By clicking on "Purchase license", you'll see the following page with all types of subscription including the classroom license :

You'll be able to pay online by clicking "Buy License" using a credit card.

What’s the license duration and pricing?

A classroom license is purchased for 365 days. For instance, if you buy a classroom license on October 15th, you will access it until October 14th included of the next year, no matter when you start being active with your students.

Pricing for a classroom license is:

  • USD 250

  • CAD 296

Can I choose a specific start date ?

No, subscription starts as soon you purchase online.

What are the payment methods proposed?

Only payment by credit card is available.

Is the license automatically renewed? If yes, how can I stop the auto-renewal process?

Yes, the classroom license will be automatically renewed at the end of the 12-month subscription period. However, each teacher will have the opportunity not to renew their license.

Teachers will receive an email 30 days before the end of their subscription period to remind them their license will be renewed, but they can update their choice in the teacher interface.

Is it possible to buy individual licenses for 10 or 20 students ?

No, you can’t buy 10 or 20 student licenses. We propose a classroom license for up to 40 students, but there is no student-by-student pricing.

Is a refund possible during the school year, for instance if the school decides to purchase Lalilo licenses whereas I've purchased a classroom license few weeks ago ?

No, unfortunately, refunds will not be possible.

If I cancel the license before expiration date, does the Complete license continue until the original expiration date?

Yes.

Can I purchase more than 1 classroom license?

No, only 1 classroom license can be purchased by one teacher.

What rostering options are offered for the classroom license?

Only manual rostering is available for the classroom offer, therefore, RGP rostering is not possible.

With a classroom license, is it possible to add co-teachers?

Yes, you can add as many co-teachers as you want. However, it will not grant them the Complete version of Lalilo, which means they might not have access to everything you have access to.

Where can I see my subscription end date?

You will see it in Account Settings :

Will I receive an invoice after purchasing ?

Yes, you'll receive a confirmation email with an invoice attached.

I’m a homeschooler: can I purchase a classroom license?

Yes. It will be the same price as educators, giving access to up to 40 students by teacher or homeschooler.
