At Lama, we understand that creatives often have specific requirements for their prints, such as custom numbering. To accommodate these unique requests, we offer a 'Notes to the Studio' feature, both for e-shop sales and dropshipping orders. This article will guide you through this feature to ensure your prints are customized to your exact specifications.

Adding personalized requests

For eshop sales

Permanent notes for consistent customization:

  • Head to the e-shop tab, then to Settings > Dropshipping > Note to Studio. You can add a permanent note for recurring requests.

  • Example Note: "Number my prints in the right corner within the margin."

Tip: Use the Permanent Note feature in combination with the auto-generated certificate so we can keep count of your prints. This ensures that each print is uniquely identified and matches your edition count.

For Dropshipping

  1. Permanent notes for regular instructions:

    • Similar to e-shop sales, you can add a permanent note for any standard request that applies to all your dropshipping orders.

  2. Special notes in the cart for unique requests:

    • For specific, order-by-order requests, use the 'Note to Studio' option in your cart. This is ideal for one-off instructions or special customizations for a particular order.

    • Example: "For this order, number the print 11/20 at the back on the left corner"

'Notes to the Studio” allows you to communicate your specific requests. Whether it's a permanent note for all your orders or a one-time instruction for a special edition, these notes ensure that your prints are produced and finished exactly as you envision.
