The Structure tab in the editor sidebar shows your page as a stack of section cards — the Page Tree. It's the fastest way to navigate and reshape your page.
Navigate
Click any section card to expand it and scroll the canvas straight to that section. The card for the section you're working in highlights, so you always know where you are.
Add content
There are three ways to add something new:
The + Add content button pinned at the top adds to the end of your page.
Every gap between two cards has a small + — click it (it becomes an + Add here pill on hover) to insert in that exact spot.
The dashed + Add section button at the bottom of the list also adds to the end.
Any of these opens the content picker, which has two tabs. The Landra tab is the catalog: add a subheading, paragraph, or photo to write yourself, drop in a ready-made component (CTA button, testimonials, FAQ, comparison, and more), or ask Write with Landra to generate a new AI-written section in that exact spot.
The Saved tab is your own library: every section you've saved with Save to library, shown as a grid of cards with live thumbnails. Click a card to insert a copy of that section right there.
Reorder
Drag a card by its ⠿ handle, or use the ↑ and ↓ buttons on the card to move it one step at a time. The canvas updates instantly, so you can try a different order and see how it reads.
The ⋯ menu: improve, edit, hide, duplicate, save & delete
Every section card has a ⋯ button (right-clicking the card works too). From there you can:
✦ Improve this section — tell Landra how the section's writing should change and it revises it for you, with a review bar to keep or revert (Pro, included in your trial). See Improve with Landra.
Edit section — opens that section's settings in the Edit tab, where you can change its background, spacing, corner rounding, and width. See Style a section below.
Hide section — remove it from the page without losing it. The card stays in the tree, dimmed and marked "hidden," so you can bring it back anytime with Show section. Hidden sections never appear on your published page.
Duplicate — insert an exact copy right below, ready to edit.
Save to library — save a reusable copy of this section to your account's library, so you can insert it on any page from the content picker's Saved tab. Give it a name and click Save section.
Delete — remove the section. Changed your mind? Press Cmd+Z (Ctrl+Z on Windows) or use the undo arrow at the top-left of the editor.
Not every item appears on every section. Improve this section shows only on sections with writing Landra can revise, and the page header can't be duplicated or deleted (your page has exactly one).
Style a section
A section is a thing you can select and edit, just like a module. Move your pointer over any section on the canvas and you'll see a dashed outline around it with its name on a small chip.
Click that chip to select the section. The outline turns solid, and the Edit tab shows that section's settings. You can also pick Edit section from the card's ⋯ menu in the Structure tab, which selects it and jumps straight to the settings.
The settings you'll find there:
Section width — Auto keeps the page's normal column, Full width runs the section edge to edge, and Contained holds it inside the column. Available in every layout; on the Rail layout a full-width section can sit off-centre next to the sidebar — if it doesn't look right, switch it back to Auto.
Spacing — a box control that mirrors the section's box: the outer numbers are its margins (space above and below the section), the inner ones are its padding on all four edges (breathing room inside). Drag any number up or down to change it, or click it to type an exact value.
Apply to: Desktop / Mobile — the checkboxes above the spacing box choose where your spacing edit lands. Both are ticked by default, so a change applies at every screen size. Untick Desktop to give phones their own tighter (or roomier) spacing without touching the desktop look — or untick Mobile to do the reverse. Use the Desktop / Mobile toggle at the top of the editor to preview each one.
Corner rounding — round the section's corners, from sharp (0) up to very round. Sections that a template already rounds show their real current value, so you're always adjusting from what's on screen.
Background — the colour behind the section. The swatch shows the colour the section is actually painted right now, so you can see what you're changing before you change it.
Body text size — for sections that hold writing.
Fonts — give just this section its own heading or body font (Pro). See How to change fonts and text size.
Every setting starts at Auto, which means "use the page's design." The moment you move one, it becomes yours and the rest of the page stops overriding it. Changed your mind? Cmd+Z (Ctrl+Z on Windows) undoes settings changes too, not just typing. Click Done or press Esc to deselect.
The blocks inside a section
Sections are made of smaller blocks — a heading, a paragraph, an image, a component. Click a card to expand it and you'll see each block as its own row. Click a block to select and edit it, drag its handle to reorder it within the section, or use its own ⋯ menu to duplicate or delete it (images can also be hidden). The small + between block rows inserts inside the section.
Think of the Page Tree as your page's backbone: any time you want to change the order or composition of the page, this is where to do it.
