Can I add a countdown timer to my page?

Yes — turn on a countdown timer in the announcement bar, with a fixed end date or an evergreen per-visitor timer.

Written by Ezra from Landra

Yes. Landra has a built-in countdown timer, and it lives in the announcement bar at the top of your page — great for adding urgency to a limited-time offer.

Turn on the timer

  1. In the editor, click the announcement bar at the top of your page (the promo strip). Its panel opens in the Edit tab.

  2. On the Content tab, find the Countdown timer row and turn its toggle on.

  3. Click Edit on that row to set it up.

Choose a timer mode

  • Fixed end — counts down to a specific date and time you set. It shows the same deadline to everyone (in each visitor's own local timezone). Best for a real, dated sale or launch.

  • Per visitor — an evergreen timer that starts when each visitor arrives and counts down a set duration. Best for an always-on "limited time" offer.

Good to know

  • The live countdown runs on your published page (and exports). In the editor you'll see the timer's placeholders rather than a ticking clock.

  • Pair the timer with your promo text and the announcement bar's other options (offer line, sticky bar) for a stronger limited-time push.

  • Keep it honest — if you use a fixed end date, make sure the deadline is real.

Looking for the bar's other settings? See the announcement bar options in the editor's Edit tab, and the mobile sticky CTA in Settings.
