How to hide a section without deleting it

Take a section off your published page while keeping its content safe — and bring it back anytime.

Written by Ezra from Landra

Not sure a section belongs on the page, but don't want to lose the copy? Hide it. A hidden section disappears from the canvas and from your published page, but everything in it — text, images, settings — is kept, ready to bring back with one click.

Hide a section

  1. Open the Structure tab in the editor sidebar.

  2. Click the on the section's card (or right-click the card).

  3. Choose Hide section.

The section ⋯ menu open, showing Hide section, Duplicate, and Delete

The card stays in your Page Tree, dimmed and marked "hidden", so you always know it's there. You can also hide the selected module straight from its panel in the Edit tab — use the at the top of the panel.

Bring it back

Open the same menu on the dimmed card and choose Show section. It returns to the exact spot it was in, unchanged.

Good to know

  • Hidden sections never appear on your published page, previews, or exports — hiding is safe to do on a live page (republish to update it).

  • Individual images can be hidden too, from the ⋯ on their block row inside an expanded card.

  • Hiding is great for A/B thinking: keep two versions of a section on the page and show only one.

  • If you hide the compliance footer, remember you're still responsible for advertising disclosure on the page.
