Global page settings and your Brand Kits

Save a brand kit for each brand you work on: colours, fonts, buttons, text sizes and default layout. Pick one on each brand profile, turn on a global kit, and switch kits on any page.

Written by Ezra from Landra

A brand kit saves a brand's look: its colours, fonts, button style, text sizes and default layout. Save one kit for each brand you work on, pick a kit on each brand profile, and every new page for that brand starts looking like it instead of the template. Brand kits live in Global page settings and are free on every plan.

Create a brand kit

  1. Go to Brand profiles in the sidebar, then open the Global page settings tab.

  2. Under Brand kits, click New kit. Your kits are listed underneath, each with Edit, Duplicate and Delete.

  1. Give the kit a name, like the brand it is for.

  2. Set your three colours. Primary is your dominant brand colour and drives banners and dark bands. Secondary is your action colour and drives buttons, links and highlights. Tertiary is your neutral and drives the page background and card fills.

Below the colours you can set your heading and body fonts and your button style: corner roundness, label font, weight and uppercase. A live button preview shows the result. Changes save on their own a moment after you make them.

Text sizes, font pairing and layout

At the bottom of each kit are three more sections. Click one to open it:

  • Text sizes & spacing: page title, headers, body text, line height and the gaps between sections, paragraphs and images.

  • Font pairing: a ready-made heading and body combination. If the kit sets its own heading and body fonts above, those are used instead.

  • Default layout & card corners: the layout new advertorials and listicles open on (Classic, Rail or Wide), and how rounded cards are.

Leave a layout unpicked and pages open on the template's own layout.

What Landra works out for you

You only pick three colours. Everything else on the page is calculated from them: the dark bands, the accent used on those bands, card fills, review stars and the highlighter. Those rows are marked AUTO until you set one yourself.

Landra also measures every text-on-background pair it creates and nudges one side if the combination would be hard to read, so your pages stay legible whatever you pick. If a colour you've chosen can't be made readable, you'll see a note on that row explaining why.

Pick a kit for each brand profile

Open a brand profile from Brand profiles. The Brand kit row at the top sets what new pages for that brand start with:

  • Global kit: follow your global setting (see below). It shows the global kit's name, or off right now if the global kit is off.

  • No kit: new pages for this brand use the template's look, even when your global kit is on.

  • A specific kit: new pages for this brand always start with that kit.

Hover the ⓘ next to Brand kit for a quick reminder of what a kit is, and use Edit brand kits to jump to your kits.

Use a kit on every page

Turn on Use a kit on every page at the top of the Brand kits section and pick a kit. New pages use it unless their brand profile has its own kit or is set to No kit. Nothing is switched on for you: with the switch off, a page only gets a kit when its brand profile has one.

Using it on a new page

On the last screen before Landra builds your page, the Extras row, Additional context and settings, shows which kit the page will use, for example "Brand kit: Ezra Kit Main · English · No extra context".

Click it to change it for this page. Turn Brand kit off to use the template's look, or pick any of your kits. The other two switches set the page language (Translate) and anything your website doesn't say (Extra context).

Changing the kit on a page you've already built

Open the page in the editor and click the Settings tab. The Brand kit menu sits at the very top.

The Brand kit menu at the top of the Settings tab in the editor, set to Use template defaults
  • Pick a kit to apply it to the page.

  • Pick Use template defaults to go back to how the page looked before any kit, so it's safe to try a kit on a page you've already styled.

  • Edited a kit since you applied it? Click Reapply under the menu to bring the page up to date.

With a kit applied, Reset to kit defaults in the Type tab puts the kit's text sizes back.

Form domains (GoHighLevel on your own domain)

If your agency serves GoHighLevel forms, surveys or calendars from its own domain, like link.youragency.com, add it under Form domains at the bottom of Global page settings. Once it's there, those forms show on your pages when you embed them with a Custom Code block, and they can open in a popup from your buttons.

The Form domains section in Global page settings, with one domain added and a box to add another
  • You can paste the domain, a form link, or the whole embed code. Landra picks out the domain.

  • GoHighLevel's own domains already work, so there's nothing to add for those.

  • You can add up to 10 domains. On a team account the list is shared.

  • Adding or removing a domain takes effect the next time you publish a page, so republish any live page that uses it.

Good to know

  • Editing a kit never restyles pages you've already built. Use Reapply on a page when you want it to pick up your changes.

  • A kit is a starting point, not a lock. You can still change anything on any page from its Settings tab.

  • Premium templates come with their own colourway. With a kit applied, your kit wins. Without one, the template's look does.

  • The mobile sticky CTA bar is set on each page, since every page's offer can differ. See How to set up the mobile sticky CTA bar.

  • On a team account, kits are shared, so everyone's pages start from the same brands.
